Cardiff and Vale University Health Board (the UHB) is a Smoke Free Health Board. Smoking is banned across all of the UHB sites. Staff are therefore not able to smoke in the hospital grounds or on any other UHB premises.

We are recruiting a Band 5 Registered Nurse to join the Day Surgery Unit situated in the University Hospital Llandough
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join the team . The unit provides an excellent facility for day surgery patients undergoing a wide variety of surgical procedures.
The successful individual will work within a team assisting to deliver the highest standards of pre and post-operative care to patients across a number of surgical specialities. This is a very busy dynamic unit and you will need to be dedicated, hard working and flexible to care for patients across a broad spectrum of surgical specialities. This is a great opportunity to develop your nursing career and build on existing knowledge as we also have an in- house practice education team who can help with on-going professional development.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply..

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
