Pharmacist lead for the Children, Young People and Family Health Service, working across Community Paediatrics in Cardiff and the Vale and Tertiary Paediatric Services at the Noah’s Ark Children's Hospital for Wales
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated, enthusiastic and experienced clinical pharmacist to join our patient-focused and progressive Children and Women Pharmacy Team.
You will have the opportunity to lead on medicines management for the Children, Young People and Family Health Directorate. The post holder will have responsibility for pharmacy clinical services to a variety of specialities, including neurodevelopmental disorders, CAMHS and children with complex needs. They will also provide pharmaceutical advice and input to the MDT at the excellent Ty Hafan Hospice, caring for children with life-limiting illnesses.
Independent prescribing and managing clinics within the Neurodevelopmental service will be another exciting and fulfilling element of the role. You will also be working as part of the Children and Women Pharmacy Team in the Children's Hospital for Wales, providing clinical pharmacy services to tertiary specialities as well as managing and training junior staff to cover across services.
Our aim is to help and support you to continue the development of these recently established clinical pharmacy services to this speciality. Our innovative services, backed by strong technical support, are highly respected & fully integrated within the Children’s Hospital for Wales. Your professionalism, excellent inter-personal skills & enthusiasm will equip you to be a valued contributor to our service & a key member of our supportive clinical pharmacy team.
