We are recruiting qualified Nurses/ODP to join our exceptional  theatre team based in our Protected Elective Surgical Unit Theatres (PESU) at the University Hospital of Wales. 

Our surgical team are renowned as highly skilled and a vital part of the wider Perioperative Care Directorate. Through joining us you will be offered unrivalled training and professional support within a hardworking and dedicated environment. Successful integration in to the team will provide you with an opportunity to make an unparalleled impact on the lives of our patients as we deliver the post-covid recovery plans for surgery. 

You will develop to be a true team player who specialises in being equally pro-active, organised and able to react to the ever changing and fast paced environment within surgery. In addition you will benefit from:

- Integration in to the wider Operating Theatre Department and Perioperative Care Directorate which includes over 40 operating theatres. Your job role will provide an opportunity to train and work across all specialities including Ophthalmology, ENT, Gynae, Urology and General Surgery.

- Dedicated Theatre Practice Education Team guidance providing support with formal education and learning.

- Regular training and audit days with opportunities for continuing professional development.

- Employment within the largest and most specialist hospital within Wales and one of the UKs leading ophthalmic centres.
