An opportunity has arisen for Band 7 Emergency Nurse Practitioner vacancy within the Emergency and Acute Medicine Directorate at Cardiff and Vale UHB.

Applications are welcomed from qualified Level 1 Registered Nurses who have significant knowledge and experience within Emergency Medicine and the Minor Injuries setting.

The post holder will be identified as a clinical expert within the minor injuries setting and will be expected to assess patients, forming a treatment plan and discharging patients with minor injuries, autonomously.

They will be required to have a high clinical profile ensuring the provision of effective and efficient care through the management of available resources. At this level the post holder is expected to work as a skilled practitioner and demonstrate excellent leadership and managerial skills at a senior level.

This is a wonderful career opportunity to further enhance autonomous practice within minor injuries/illness and develop enhanced clinical skills. As part of the team you would be expected to work across different sites within the Cardiff and Vale UHB.
