Nurse Advisor, Medicines Management   Band 7   0.4 wte   Secondment until 31.3.2022 based in Pharmacy.

An exciting secondment opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to work with the current UHB's Nurse Advisor, Medicines Management in leading and delivering the Medicines Management agenda, predominantly though not exclusively in Nursing and Midwifery.  The opportunity will allow the successful candidate to broaden their knowledge of the Medicines Management agenda within the UHB. There will also be some opportunity to experience medicines management strategies from both a Welsh and UK wide perspective.

We are looking for an experienced registered nurse who has a keen interest in medicines and their impact on patients, staff and the organisation.

The successful candidate will need to facilitate the safe, effective and economic use of medicines. It is an interesting and wide reaching role as medicines management processes are in place throughout the health and social care environment. Whilst the remit of the role is varied you can expect to gain experience in, education & training, the safety agenda and policy and standard setting during this secondment.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Closing date: 26th November 2020.
