Cardiff and Vale University Health Board (the UHB) is a Smoke Free Health Board. Smoking is banned across all of the UHB sites. Staff are therefore not able to smoke in the hospital grounds or on any other UHB premises.

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic pharmacist to join the team in the Welsh Medicines Information Centre (WMIC), in the Pharmacy Department at the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff. Join our highly motivated team and share in our values, caring for people, keeping them well. 

In this post you will support the Pharmacist Team Leader in the strategic management of the enquiry answering service provided by WMIC. You will play a pivotal role in providing clinical advice to patients and healthcare professionals across Cardiff and Vale University Health Board (CAVUHB) to optimise the pharmaceutical care and outcomes of our service users. You will join our continuing drive to improve the quality of the information handling and problem solving skills across CAVUHB.

We are prepared to consider flexible working hours between 0.6-1.0 wte with this post.
