This is an exciting secondment opportunity for dynamic, motivated and experienced Band 7 Registered Nurses who would like to be involved in the management and monitoring of patient flow/pathways, within Medicine Clinical Board (MCB), in order to deliver a standardised and coordinated approach to patient flow.

The focus of the roles are to improve the patient experience and quality of care for medical patients outlied from their speciality bed base as well as supporting patient flow within Medicine Clinical Board in University Hospital of Wales (UHW).

As the Clinical Lead for Discharge Pathways, you play a central role within Medicine Clinical Board ensuring organisation management and monitoring of the patientflow/pathway, in order to deliver a standardised and coordinated approach to patient flow. The focus of the role is improving the patient experience and quality of care, while ensuring compliance of the daily discharge performance matrix.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
