This an exciting new post within the Cardiff & Vale University Health Board Adult Speech & Language Therapy service. The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of a highly specialised SLT service to a caseload of adults requiring long -term ventilation and step-down rehab within Critical Care. The post holder will be required to work effectively in collaboration with the full multidisciplinary teams, including other health professionals to promote the development, planning and delivery of intervention programmes and training in the specialist clinical area. The adult SLT service at Cardiff & Vale is a small and friendly service with Clinical Lead SLTs providing robust support and supervision. Participation in service projects and audits is encouraged.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
