THIS POST IS A FIXED TERM CONTRACT UNTIL 31 MARCH 2022 DUE TO FUNDING.
Cardiff & Vale University Health Board is recruiting a Project Support and IT Helpdesk Officer to work as part of an exciting programme team, delivering service improvements to over 160 clinical teams across Mental Health and Community Health services.
The role will work within the Paris team with focus upon the service support of the Health Boards e-record solution (PARIS). Supporting and co-ordinating system Go-Lives/Implementations along with user support and bug finding.
The post requires excellent communication and customer service skills as you will be responsible for interfacing with a wide and varied clientele on a variety of technical and non-technical tasks. You will be adept at applying logic to problems encountered on a daily basis, and confident in relaying sometimes technical information and data in a clear and concise manner. You will be capable of working in a dynamic team, and thrive in a goal oriented environment.
Previous experience of help desk and/or electronic medical record systems would also be advantageous, alongside a good level of education.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
