Cardiff and Vale University Health Board (the UHB) is a Smoke Free Health Board. Smoking is banned across all of the UHB sites. Staff are therefore not able to smoke in the hospital grounds or on any other UHB premises.

We are pleased to offer this exciting opportunity within Cardiff and Vale Children’s Speech and Language Therapy Service.
We are a friendly and supportive team with a successful mainstream school service, a busy clinic service for pre-school children as well as specialist and tertiary services for children with complex needs. Cardiff is a thriving city with excellent transport links and easy access to beautiful beaches and the Brecon Beacons National Park. The Vale of Glamorgan covers rural villages and seaside towns.
This post is permanent and part time. The successful candidate will be an HCPC registered SLT with significant experience of working with children with autism in a variety of settings. You will work with a specialist caseload of children with ASD in a variety of settings across Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan including mainstream schools, specialist educational provisions and children’s homes. You will provide advice to junior colleagues and will have line management responsibilities.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
