Cardiff and Vale University Health Board (the UHB) is a Smoke Free Health Board. Smoking is banned across all of the UHB sites. Staff are therefore not able to smoke in the hospital grounds or on any other UHB premises.

Due to Covid recovery funding an opportunity has arisen to join the SLT team covering the acute wards within Cardiff & Vale University Health Board. The acute service is delivered across two sites, University Hospital of Wales and University Hospital Llandough, covering a range of highly specialist tertiary services. The SLT service is small, friendly and dynamic . You will be supported by a B7 Team Lead and a Clinical Lead SLT. Robust supervision is provided.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
