Job overview

Applications are invited for a Junior Clinical Fellow post in Tertiary Neonatology at Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital in Cardiff.  This post is available from 26th November 2022 for 2 years. There is also a Junior Clinical Fellow post that is available from now until 5th September 2023

There are  good prospects of 6-monthly rotation through the range of Paediatric subspecialties within the Children’s Hospital, subject to your performance, interest, and post availability nearer the time. The Children’s Hospital for Wales offers a full range of Regional Specialties for children in Wales

Main duties of the job

The Cardiff and Vale University Local Health Board offers a full range of regional specialties for children in Wales. This is an exciting opportunity to gain Neonatal experience at a world class Children’s hospital, with a wealth of training and education opportunities available to successful applicants. The NICU at the UHW site provides specialised tertiary neonatal services for the whole population of South Wales with a small number of referrals from England. Whilst these are not accredited training posts, they attract the same training opportunities, including study leave, a named educational supervisor, and a very active educational program equal to that received by deanery trainees.
